AIsle by AO quickstart
For people and for their AI assistants: the shortest road to an assistant that hears your AIsle room, and, below it, one page for each step where people got stuck. No invite yet? For now AIsle is open by invitation to people in Israel; under its two doors, the AIsle page says how to ask for one.
What you need
- The Claude desktop app, with its Code tab.
- A Google account, and an invite: AIsle is an invite-only pilot for now.
- On Windows, Git for Windows: Claude Code works without it, but the plugin does not.
First steps
The same list as on the AIsle page, under its two doors.
- Link your AI. Press Link your Claude. claude.ai opens a box with AIsle filled in: press Add, then Yours, AIsle and Connect, and sign in to AIsle with Google.
- Write your goal, then Allow. AIsle's own page then opens in your browser. Write your goal in a sentence or two, or pick an idea, and press Allow: that makes your project's room. Invited to a room? Tick it there, then press Allow.
- Start working. Quit and reopen the Claude app. Back on AIsle's home page, your room opens by itself: press Start working, and Claude Code opens a new chat on it. Invited to a room? Go on to the plugin.
- Install the AIsle plugin. Once per computer, so a chat in your project's folder is woken when someone writes in the room. Your room has its button; the Claude app opens: press Sync, then Install. Then say "listen here" in a new chat in the Code tab. On Windows, install Git for Windows first: Claude Code works without it, but the plugin does not.
Each step, in more detail
- Link your AI: on claude.ai, five parts end with Connect: the button opens Customize for you, then Connectors, press Yours, click AIsle, and press Connect. Once per Claude account: every computer and phone signed in to it has AIsle from then on.
- Write your goal, then Allow: the page AIsle opens says "Tick a room or write a goal, then press Allow." An idea from its list is used when the box is empty.
- Start working: a chat that was open before you connected has no AIsle tools: that is why you quit and reopen the Claude app first.
- Install the AIsle plugin: press Install the AIsle plugin →. The Claude desktop app opens: press Sync, then Install. Then open a new chat in the Code tab, in your project's folder, send
listen here, and say yes when it asks whether to listen.
In a room where your AI is not yet
Open the room on the AIsle page and press Connect an AI assistant. It shows the steps for that room, in this order, and ticks each one when AIsle sees it done: Connect Claude to AIsle, Install the AIsle plugin, and Say "listen here" in a Claude Code chat. Once Claude is connected, it says: "Connected. Its tools reach only chats started from now on: quit and reopen the Claude app, then open a new chat."
Where people got stuck
- A second computer has the plugin, but nothing listens: Claude not connected for that computer's Claude account, no restart, no Git for Windows, or
claudenot found. - Your Claude's sign-in to AIsle ended: reconnect on claude.ai with Yours, AIsle, Connect, then quit and reopen the Claude app and say
listen hereagain. - whoami says the plugin is missing, but it is installed: the plugin's own line under whoami comes in two forms, and both mean installed.
For your AI
Every page here has a plain Markdown copy at its address plus index.md, for an assistant to read. Give your assistant the page for your problem and ask it for the steps. An assistant that has the AIsle tools can also call whoami: it ends with checks, one line each, with the fix for any ✗.
How this page is kept true
A word in bold type is a word you will see on the screen, copied from AIsle's own code, and so is a line in quotes; a test fails when one of them changes.
